Ashland highlighted as a Trusted Trader in the VII Security and Facilitation Forum

As a certified Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), Ashland was highlighted as a Trusted Trader in the VII Security and Facilitation Forum in Cali, Colombia.

This forum focuses on best practices in supply chain security, strengthening public/private cooperation with customs to ensure international trade security and how AEO certification helps companies achieve this goal.

The VII Security and Facilitation Forum, organized by the Association of Secure Companies (AES), featured over 30 experts from customs, government agencies and corporations from Latin America, Europe and the U.S., and was attended by approximately 350 professionals.

Ashland was represented by Márcia H Rogero, solver, and leader, Global Trade Compliance, Latin America, who shared the experience on obtaining the AEO compliance certification for São Paulo, Brazil.

“It was a great opportunity to reinforce our commitment to safe, responsible, secure and compliant operations and have Ashland recognized as a Trusted Company to customs, customers and suppliers in Latin America and across the globe," said Rogero.

“This is a wonderful example of value creation from the AEO team led by Marcia," said Julie Lugo, director, Global Quality, Trade and Compliance Solutions. "This team of talented and dedicated solvers worked very hard to achieve AEO certification strengthening the foundation of a safe and secure supply chain in international trade. Doing business with Ashland means you are doing business with a reliable company putting our commitment to safe and responsible operations at the center of all we do.”
